Do you know me? The story of how I parted the Red Sea is an old story. The story of how I brought forth manna from heaven is also an old story. The story of me paying taxes through a fish is, too, an old story.
There are newer stories here on the earth, ones that you have heard, stories of revival and protection and provision. Armies blinded, cheques in the mail, food on the table.
But are they your stories?
Child, I have known you since before you were born. I was there when you smiled your first smile, said your first words, stepped your first steps. I cheered when you courageously spoke in class, I noticed when you quietly righted a wrong, and I smiled when you tumbled your first tumble.
Don’t live life so protected that you do not notice when I provided your food or perform subtle miracles for you. The opportunities that presented themselves that allowed you to feel that feeling of unexplained contentment, that was me. And when you needed to be hidden, I hid you.
It is time to take time and take note. Speak to me, let me show you where I have been in your life and where I want to take you. I love you.
Zephaniah 3:17
‘The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.’
