Do things differently

My dear child I challenge you today to do things differently. I ask that you trust me in every conversation and situation; and you choose to surrender your desire for justification to me. Trust me as you release forgiveness where it’s unmerited. Let go of the need to prove points and be heard above the crowd. Love those who disagree and discourage you. Treat everyone with grace and honour and watch as I move in their lives through your servant heart.

The enemy wants to ensnare my people in his world of competition, greed,  envy, positioning, gossiping and pride. Allow me to tear this down through you, through your yielding to my Spirit and taking the narrow path at all times.

I am not asking you to be a doormat – simply a welcome mat to my Kingdom. Trust me as we tear down walls of fear and hate, through love and forgiveness. This begins in the small things, and it begins with you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ .
