Our Saviour Jesus Christ, who won victory for us, reminds us today that we wear the helmet of salvation. Do not be misled by the enemy – remember that he is a deciever.
One of his tactics today is to spread the seed of doubt, doubt not only in your salvation but also in your ability to succeed, overcome and enjoy victory in Christ.
Remember the name written on your forehead and in your heart. Use His name to send the enemy’s foot-soldiers fleeing. And use your sword too: use Scripture truths to cut through the lies, false roots and deceiving tentacles that would seek to reattach themselves to your life.
Ephesians 6:16-18
…take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
