Digging’s done / building’s begun! – your Lion Bites word for today

When the foundations of a new house are laid, the builder will dig out the trenches and fill them with concrete. Then he lays the floor slab. All is finished and ready for building. The timber frame arrives and from that stage on everything is building upwards.

I hear the Holy Spirit say, ‘You have been digging in the ground for many years, trying to find a sure rock upon which to build. You have been looking for the day of completion and readiness that you knew would come one day. For you that day has now come’.

You have the blood-bought authority to build and a grace is being released on it. So go out and build now for the kingdom of Jesus Christ. The digging’s done, the building’s begun.

Nehemiah 6:8-9;15
I [Nehemiah] sent him this reply: “Nothing like what you are saying is happening; you are just making it up out of your head.” They were all trying to frighten us, thinking, “Their hands will get too weak for the work, and it will not be completed.”
But I prayed, “Now strengthen my hands.”

…So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days.
