Declare that God is Good! – your Lion Bites word for today

Psalm 100:4-5
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations!

Put praise on your lips right now. Like a woman might put on lipstick or makeup, or a man might comb hair or put on a fine scent, put on praise before you step out of your room. No matter where you are and how you feel right now – whether lowest of lows or highest or highs – begin to declare, habitually, that the Lord is good and that His love endures forever.

Give thanks to Him in the midst of your circumstances. Not just once, like the magic-word-mantra of a superstitious person, but repeatedly give thanks to Him, throughout your day.

Declare that He is good: every hour; every half hour; every ten minutes; every five minutes…
As you form the habit of putting praise on your lips and you make your declarations of God’s goodness the dominant reaction in your life, your faith will rise to conquer those circumstances that have too often overwhelmed you.

The Lord IS good and His love endures forever!
