De-clutter and be generous

The opportunity to lay down and give away things that you no longer need presents itself to you at this time. You will have felt this nudge. This is a time to strip back, to do what the world calls ‘de-clutter’. It is part of the process of transition. But the Lord also says to you that there is grace for you to go further, to even get rid of things that you would usually rather not be without. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you make important decisions about the things in your life: both material objects and also things that absorb your time. You will find the strength to make sacrifices; this will also lead to new-found levels of generosity.

1 Kings 19:21
So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.
