Dancing Shoes – your Lion Bites word for today

Psalm 149:3
Let them praise His name with the dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.
 
The Lord has a gift for you this day – I hear Him saying that He has new shoes for you to put on! 

The season that you have just walked through has been over rough terrain and up steep mountains… the hiking boots you have been wearing have served you well but are now worn out from the journey and no longer required.

I hear the Lord declare over you the end of one season and the beginning of a new season. I hear Him say that it is now a time of lightness and joy and a time to dance again!  Jesus asks, ‘Will you choose now to take off the worn-out boots of the past season and allow me to replace them with beautiful new dancing shoes?’  He declares over you: ‘It’s time to dance before your God… dance, dance, dance and release your praise to your God!’

Ecclesiates 3:1-8
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, And a time to die;
A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill, And a time to heal;
A time to break down, And a time to build up;
A time to weep, And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain, And a time to lose;
A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
A time to tear, And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;
A time to love, And a time to hate;
A time of war, And a time of peace.
