Dancing in the face of adversity – your Lion Bites word for today
The Lord says “do not allow adversity to steal your joy or rob you of your movement. Instead, look up and use your joy and your dance as a weapon against adversity. Do not let your circumstances define who you are, rather let me define you.”
Today, triumphantly dance before your God, and the enemy will watch and retreat at the sign of your joy-filled overcoming dance. The enemy will be thrown into confusion as he sees his plans have not stolen from you what he thought they would.
You may want to dance physically or you may want to posture your heart before God, saying “I choose not to let circumstances define me. I choose to dance in the face of adversity.”
Psalm 30:11-12
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
