Community Alignment

I am calling my children to be in alignment in the relationships I have specifically designed for you. Who you spend time with is important to Me, and I want you to connect with the right people at the right time.

This means understanding that there may be people around you who seem to be ‘good’ but are not necessarily those who you are meant to be in close relationship with. In order to flourish spiritually this season, it is crucial to be within the right friendship alignments.

In this season the enemy will attempt to use the people around you to hold you back and bring you down. I, however, will use spiritually healthy people, who love Me and walk in my ways, to build you up, to guide you into your purpose and to strengthen you. Therefore, practice discernment this season to align yourself rightly. Seek Me first and I will show you who to partner with for your own good, and for the purposes of my Kingdom.

Prayer: “Father, thank you that you always ensure I am on the right path. I ask for you to grow my discernment this season, especially in the area of friendships and community. Help me see who the right alignments in my life are, and flourish those in my life.  I ask that you also give me wisdom, to know which relationships are not in my best interest, and give me the courage to walk away from those relationships if need be. Show me how to move forward in the right community, with the right people, so I can grow in relationship with you and your people.”

Matthew 7:16-20 (NKJ)

You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 (NIV)

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
