Communion

I long for you to come and commune with me. Come sit with me for a while, pulling away from the world’s demands, from the wants and needs of the flesh. Come sit with me for a while, and be reminded that you are one with me. I am in you and you are in me. Spirit to spirit.

Come take the new wine and eat the fresh bread; be refreshed and healed as you receive from me. Linger a while longer so I can refresh your soul for I am calling you to come to the table I have prepared for you. This table has everything you need for the season ahead.

Will you come and commune with me, for I have pulled up a chair just for you. Will you come?

I want to open and awaken your spirit to a new revelation of me. So I ask again, will you come and commune with me?

Luke 22:17-19 (TPT)

Then he raised a cup and gave thanks to God and said to them, “Take this and pass it on to one another and drink. I promise you that the next time we drink this wine, we will be together in the feast of God’s kingdom.”

Then he lifted up a loaf, and after praying a prayer of thanksgiving to God, he gave each of his apostles a piece of bread, saying, “This loaf is my body, which is now being offered to you. Always eat it to remember me.”
