Come and walk with me for a while. Come up higher my children, for too long you have been looking down, bogged down in the details of life. Though there are times and seasons that you need to deal with the minutiae of life, I want you to come up higher and receive a higher perspective. Come and see through my eyes of love.
Many of you have gotten lost in the details and feel overwhelmed, like someone lost in the woods. Come up to me and let me show you another perspective: the bigger picture. It is time to see things differently. For many of you, those things that seemed beautiful, important, and necessary now make you feel overwhelmed and anxious. I want you to come up higher, where the air is clear and you can see. From my perspective things are so much clearer, for my ways are not your ways, and my thoughts are not your thoughts. Come up to me and embrace my perspective, letting all fear disappear, and walk with me in peace.
Activation: Take the hand of Jesus and ask him to lift you above your circumstances. Ask him to show you everything that you are concerned about from his perspective. Ask him to show you things through his eyes and for him to help you see the bigger picture of what he is doing.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV)
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
