Come to me, my beloved. Would you trust me with the secret thoughts? I know the secrets of your heart and even the innermost places of deep pain are not hidden from me. I long for you to come to me so that I can hold you close, so that I can heal your broken heart. Love and compassion for you flows from my heart. Come to me my beloved – know that I only want the best for you… the best for you – healing and wholeness, fullness of life and joy. Yes, the Sovereign Lord is coming in power. He will rule with a powerful arm. See he brings his reward with him, as he comes. He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.
