Come Deeper to Go Higher – your Lion Bites word for today

I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “Come deeper to go higher.

Just as I brought Ezekiel to the river and led him into the depths, so I am leading you to the deeper places so that I can take you to greater heights. Come deeper by bowing the knee and submitting to me and my Kingdom. Surrender your agendas and bright ideas; surrender your prejudices and preferences by allowing me to wash over you and through you.

Today, I am asking you to pick up my Word, to read it, meditate on it, saturate your mind and soul in it. Will you allow me to transform your mind through my Word? Will you allow me to transform your heart and passions through my Word? You desire to build and to go to greater heights in your faith; that requires going deeper in the Word, going deeper into truth and going deeper in your relationship with me! Seek me and you will find me. All I ask is that you allow me to come as I desire and that you submit to my transformation process to make you more like Christ!”
