You are a citizen of my Kingdom

John 16:33
I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

I have promised you joy, not a lack of problems. So don’t be surprised by the troubles that you face. The world is not perfect. Instead, remember me: remember that I have overcome the things of this world. Allow me to raise your gaze above all that is bustling around you. You are a citizen of my Kingdom. Walk in that knowledge, carry my joy, my love and my peace as my ambassador in this imperfect world.
