Choose Peace

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid…

Choose peace this day and every day, for I am peace. Turn away from hatred, frustration, irritation and anger – for these are not the fruit of My Spirit.

Choose to step into My river, the flow of stillness and life. Do not just be at peace but become peace as you receive from My river. Let My peace infuse every part of you and permeate every cell, to the core of who you are. You will not only feel transformed but you will transform atmospheres and situations.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God (Matt. 5:9). You who are these – release peace in the midst of despair, into battlegrounds of the tongue and the spirit; release peace and there will be peace in the place you are.

Choose to release peace from your heart – come and receive it from My river ofshalom – then release it.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
