Brilliant Minutes – your Lion Bites word for today

Proverbs 16:9
We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.
 
The Lord says to you, ‘I have given you command of your seconds and minutes, they are yours to take control of. I have given you the seconds, minutes and hours of your days that you might display my glory with all the brilliance that I put within you. Do not let time be your master; rather, dedicate each minute to me and make righteous decrees about what you are doing in – and with – these portions of time.’
 
As you go about your business today, shine brilliantly. Don’t sweat each minute away but instead wring out every bit of God-determined potential that is contained in each second that ticks past. The Lord is replacing your lean and thin days of ‘just getting by’ with fuller, more satisfying, more fulfilling and more glorious times.
 
Ephesians 5:15-20
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
