Bride, be ready

“Get ready! Get ready My people, for I am coming for a spotless Bride!”

It’s time to awaken out of your slumber and ready yourself. It is a time of preparation.

What bride would just roll out of bed, throw on her dress and dash to her wedding? On the contrary, a time of great preparation would take place in the weeks and months before the wedding, in order to ready herself for her bridegroom and their great wedding day. So it is also with the Bride of Christ: we must anticipate and prepare for the return of our Bridegroom; getting rid of everything unclean and unholy, purifying our hearts and minds.

Keep watch for His return with all the joy, excitement, energy and anticipation of a bride in her wedding year!

Revelation 19:7
Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honour to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear. For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.
