Be where He is – your Lion Bites word for today

Your loving Father says, ‘I will feed you – but you have to come and eat from my hand.’
 
It is your Heavenly Father’s job to feed you, both spiritually and physically. Being where He is is your guarantee that you will be fed. So keep close to Him.
 
A runaway child has abandoned the place where she’ll be fed and loved and cared for.  It’s only in coming home that all her needs can be met. God calls prodigals back to be fed – fed with His unstinting affection. He’ll kill the fatted calf for you. He’ll send out the banquet invitations for your home coming party. But it can only happen when you come home to Him.
 
Moses said he would not move forward without God’s presence, so you mustn’t do so either. God fed His people in the wilderness.  He will feed you when you walk with Him.
 
He calls you to stop today and check out where you are in relation to Him. Are you close enough to be fed by His hand or have you wandered off course a little? Have you become too busy to see where He is working? Time to make adjustments!
