Be Strong

Do not throw away your confidence. Don’t return to old battles that you have already won in your life, for such are the hindrances blocking my work in your families, communities and larger regions. Think of those matters you replay in your mind which I have instructed you to leave at the foot of Jesus’ cross. Let go of previous successes as well as what you see as failures. I am new every morning.

I have great things for you to mature into, and the message given to Joshua to drive out the enemies before Israel, also applies to you. Be strong in your hearts and minds to crucify those things that you know hold you back. 

Be in my timing for your life through obedience. I never go backwards. 

Do not be fooled, my people, when the ‘thorns in your side’ keep hurting. Recognise old battles and once and forever put them behind you.

Application: Ask God where he wants you to change the repeat message in your heart and mind of the past. Seek His healing for the things affecting these memories. Do not leave it there, instead, ask Him for a strategy to grow into maturity.
