Be Still –  your Lion Bites word for today

‘Be still!’ The Spirit of the Lord says, ‘Be still!’

God is inviting you to come, quite yourself and sit still in His presence today and listen to His heart that is beating with love for you. God has a plan and purpose for your life; actions that He wants you to take, decisions you’ll make, things you’ll do. Yet, in the midst of running for God, do not forget to make time for Him, as Father God loves to be with you.

God reminds you ‘I’m interested in all of your life, not just what you do but who you are. I don’t just want to be involved in your ‘doing’ times, I want to be with you in the ‘being’ times, where you sit still as you are. Please be still and come to spend some quality time with me. I’m waiting for you!’

My beloved speaks and says to me: ‘Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away, for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
