Be encouraged by the results

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

These are the results of me in your life, the evidence that I am at work in you. Look at yourself, at your heart and see what I am doing within you. Don’t measure yourself against what others have, or what they have done. For judging outward appearances can often bring you to a place of discouragement. Instead rejoice in what I have given you and how you are growing. You are displaying the fruit of my Spirit, which is the proof of my presence in you. Be encouraged that you are my masterpiece – not because of what you are doing but because of who you are. Like a great work of art, you are one that displays my splendour to all that encounter you.
