Arise! – your Lion Bites word for today

Arise, my sons! Arise, my sons! Arise, my sons!

Creation’s groan has reached my ears. Creation is calling, straining, longing for my sons to arise. It is time for my sons to be revealed.

I am calling forth the ones hidden in back rooms, hidden in shame, in secrecy and the dark. I am calling you into the light. I am calling you to stand tall. Lift your heads and look full into my face. You will not see what you expect for my eyes are full of compassion, full of love.

I am releasing the ones who have been stuck in the miry clay, stuck in the pits of hell, unable to move. Reach out and put your hand in mine. I will lead you out.

I am waking the ones who are sleeping, drugged and lulled by the enemy’s lullaby. I am shaking you awake.

I am resurrecting the ones who are held captive in the tombs of death, bound and unable to escape. Hear my voice as it reaches into the depths of your prison.

Come forth, my sons! Let me bring you into maturity, into the fullness of your sonship and release you to carry my glory across the earth. This is your time. Come fully into the light of my love and my fathering. You are my beloved sons.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
