A time to birth and build –  your Lion Bites word for today

This is your time to birth and to build; to begin, to advance, to initiate and to make a start. Shake off the prevailing dust from your former days. Do not let old formulas and mindsets become a comfort that hooks you back to what ‘once was’ rather than pushing you forward into what ‘is now to be’. This is your time to birth and to build.

Nehemiah took the painful news of the collapse of Jerusalem’s walls into the place of prayer and God birthed leadership and strategy in him that would accelerate the rebuilding process in a supernatural way. So God is calling you to take that which moves your very core into the place of prayer and let Him breathe life into vision and strategy so that you can give birth to your purpose from Him. Do not be sidetracked by assuming what you’ve been doing is only going to continue. God is bringing a rapid transformation to you and to the work of your hands.

Choose to hear the Holy Spirit today, let Him put a finger on what needs to go and start to intercede over what burns in your heart as this will become the birthing place for the next years of adventures with God.

Nehemiah 2:17-18
Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.” I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work.
