A season of rest – your Lion Bites word for today

‘I see your struggles and your circumstances’, says the Lord. ‘I see the weariness that has come as a result of all that you have endured. You have been faithful in the trial but it has cost you, physically and emotionally.’
 
For those for whom this resonates, listen to what the Lord says to you: ‘Today I come to mark this as a new season. A season of rest, rejuvenation and restoration. As you learn to rest in me, I want you to know a rejuvenation in your whole being. I want to put a spring back in your step! For I am coming to restore your physical energy as well as your capacity for all I have for you in your spirit. This is a season to rest, but not switch off to the things of my spirit and my kingdom. As you rest, I am sharpening you. As I rejuvenate you, your spirit is coming back to life and joy and hope is being restored.’

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me besides quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
