God’s eyes are on those in the margins, the peripheries, the physical coastlines of the land, and those who simply feel on the ‘outside’. He calls you today to let you know that you are not hidden or forgotten by Him. You steward His presence.
If you are a person of prayer, your presence is significant in these places. You sign-post His Glory. You do not exist in solitude or silence but are very much wrapped up in the Lord’s plans, purposes and people. He promises to feed you himself – with scripture and with His Spirit. He is your sustenance.
Today, He asks you to cry out towards the centre, to declare the coming filling of the church and land with His Glory! You have a significant role today to announce things in prayer that are not-yet, as if they already are.
Habakkuk 2:1-3, 14
I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.
Then the LORD replied:
‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORDÂ as the waters cover the sea
