A New Adventure – your Lion Bites word for today

“This has been a season of intimacy, a season of slowing down. It has been a season of leaning into me and hearing afresh my heart – for you, for your family, your work, your relationships, your city and nation. Are you ready to take what I have shared with you in the ‘quiet place’ and put it into action in your life? In order to walk into the ‘new’, you have to make sure you have laid down the ‘old’. Not only laid it down but put it behind you. You cannot take it with you into the new as it would taint the ‘new’ and slow you down. But rise up in the ‘new’ that we have shared in this time of intimacy and begin to walk in all you have become and all that you are. The time is right, so ask me to guide and direct you and we will walk together into the plans I have for you. Will you trust Me in this? You are free to choose. Come with Me today; let us adventure together!”

Take some time to ask Father what you need to lay down and leave behind. Ask Him to show you how and then walk away from those things that are hindering you. Walk with Him into your new adventure!

Hebrews 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us and let is run with endurance the race that is set before us.

Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
