I Want More

There is a deep, longing cry that I am awakening in the hearts of my people. It is a cry that starts small and takes some time to build, but it is a deep longing for more of God. A longing to dwell in his presence and be found in his arms. A longing to look upon His face and to see His beauty. It’s a longing to be like Moses who cried out to his Father: “Show me your glory!” Today I am stirring that afresh inside of you.

Activation: Start crying out to see Jesus. Read the scriptures out loud until they become the truth of how you feel. Posture yourself as Moses did, declaring that you will not depart until you see God’s glory and you are dwelling in His presence. Ask God to make you even more hungry for His presence.

Psalm 27:4 (NIV)

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

Exodus 33:18-23 (NIV)

Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”
