I was reminded about what it was like to spend some time on a bouncy inflatable – for example, a ‘bouncy castle’. How much fun it was: the falling over as you tried to remain upright, even as others bounced around you. But sooner or later, you had to come off – and when you did, after spending some time bouncing, there was the initial difficulty in walking in a straight line on the solid ground again.
And God said to me, “Many of my children walk through life and their spiritual life is like the bouncing up and down on the inflatable. My desire for you is for you to walk straight and forward in all of my will and in the plans that I have for you, but these will only be fulfilled as you stand on the sold rock of my word. It is here that you will have security and fulfilment. No more of the ups and the downs, but instead the continually going from one degree of glory to the next.
So it is time to stand on the sold rock of my word. Make that your sure foundation and you will never fail!
