You belong to Him – your Lion Bites word for today

The Lord reminds you today that He has marked you with a symbol, a symbol of ownership. He calls you his own and declares over you, ‘You are mine!’

Have you have felt confused and disorientated in recent times, perhaps asking questions like, ‘Who do I belong to?’ or, ‘Where do I belong?’? Maybe you’ve begun to get frustrated with finding that you don’t fit in places that you thought you were called to or have grown weary with the pursuit of finding where your belonging rests.

But now the Lord reminds you: ‘You belong to me. Your identity does not rest in the church, ministry or workplace that you are called to but rather, your identity is who I say you are! Draw close to me in this moment and, as you find and have your belonging in me and in my presence, you will see where you must be and you will know where you must operate.’

Come into His presence this day and spend time with your Heavenly Father. Find and have your being in Him and He will guide your steps, into the position He has called you to. Ask the Lord to show you what His ‘symbol of ownership’ looks like for you.
