Can you see the rain cloud? – your Lion Bites word for today

1 Kings 19:43-45
…. “Go and look out toward the sea” … Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.”…. And soon the sky was black with clouds. A heavy wind brought a terrific rainstorm….”
 
The rain is coming. It’s coming sooner than you think.
 
Soon the sky will be filled with clouds, thick with rain.
 
I hear the Spirit of the Lord say, “Hold on to the small sight of the coming downpour that you have been seeing. Do not let its size discourage you. The rain is coming. It’s coming sooner than you think.
 
I am pleased with your faithfulness. You have held on to what I have spoken to you! You have trusted in my word. Do not let go now, for the fulfilment is in front of you.”
 
And the Lord asks you today, “Can you see the rain?”
 
If not, go and look out ‘to the sea’. Keep on looking! Don’t give up. Don’t stop until you see the rain.
