Come back to a place of peace

Jesus sat in the boat in the midst of the storm. Perfectly at peace and secure, He could easily sleep.

Around Him there was a storm, around Him was the fear of death and those of little to no faith, but Jesus was in a place of calm and security.

Where are you when the storm roars all around? Where are you when there is the fear of death and everyone around is full of fear rather than faith?

There are storms and there is darkness; and there will be storms and you will see more darkness, but God says, ‘My word endures forever. The storms will cease, the darkness will flee and My word will remain’.

You know the end of the story, so why doubt? Why fear? Come back to a place of peace. Renew your mind by the Word of God and find that place of rest and comfort in Him; just like Jesus sleeping in the boat. Have faith!

Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.
