Get Ahead of the Game

The Lord speaks to you in your role as a valuable member of the body of Christ. He says: ‘It is time to get ahead of the game’.

It is time for the church to shift from the back foot to the front and it is time for you to break away from where you have been drawn into hand-to-hand battles with the enemy. God is moving you to a place that is ahead (in front) of the harvest, that you might begin to demonstrate the Kingdom to the lost with power and with authority.

For too long the enemy has had you in a ‘war of attrition’, like a never-ending rally in a tennis match, batting balls back-and-forth, back-and-forth. Now God is showing you a route out – and ahead, up over the very top of the enemy and into a new position. Picture this route like ‘monkey bars’ in a playground – you need to reach your arms up and grab hold. As you reach up in faith to your Lord and Saviour, you will realise the strength that is in your arms, a strength and speed that takes you, up, over and ahead of the game.

Once you are in your new position, watch how the Lord gives you a new voice; no more will it be the ‘grunts’ of the tennis battle, now your voice will carry over the harvest field – the ears of wheat will turn and listen to the gospel that God has put within you!
