I heard the repeated word, ‘purity – purity, purity’. Stand up for purity wherever and whenever you can. Be one who pursues purity with zeal – not out of a spirit of condemnation but out of love and devotion for the pure, blameless Lamb, who gave Himself for you.
Purity and holiness seem far from relevant, contemporary thinking. Yet the Spirit of the Lord assures us today that, as the flames of awakening catch across the land, there are many – especially children, young people and students – who are as yet outside of Christ, who will reach out for purity amidst an intense dissatisfaction of the muck and mire of life. Will they find the truth? Will they find people who are in pursuit of purity and holiness? Will they find a place of refuge amongst the pure, uncompromising bride of Christ?
1 Peter 2:12
Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbours. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honourable behaviour, and they will give honour to God when he judges the world.
