Tangled

Hebrews 12:1 (NIV) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us … 

I am streamlining you for your race.  I am releasing you into greater capacity to run unhindered.

I am lifting off you the weight of great responsibility that you have taken upon yourself.  I have not overburdened you.  I am lifting off you the heavy, dragging weight of guilt and shame.  I have made you be unencumbered.  I am lifting off you the crushing weight of expectation that sucks you into performance. 

I am cutting the ropes that tie you to loyalties of a different season or loyalties that were not of my making.  I am releasing you to run faster, to run further, with feet unfettered. 

As you throw off these hindrances, I am releasing you into an acceleration that will catapult you forwards.

Activation: Holy Spirit, shine your illuminating light into my life and show me where there are weights that limit my capacity to run as you intend me to.  Give me the wisdom to know what to do with each circumstance.  I want nothing and no one to hold me back.  Give me the courage to let go, release, throw off, or hand over everything you show me that is a limiting factor in my life right now.
