Learn to Fly! – your Lion Bites word for today

Have you ever watched when a mother bird starts prompting her young to leave the nest and take risks as they grow into maturity? She knows that they cannot stay there forever and must learn to fend for themselves and fly.

The Lord also desires you to grow up into Christ and to not settle back into your cosy nest where spiritual milk was delivered to you. In the past months, the Lord has stirred up many comfort zones, and He now prompts you to fly. Your life was created by the Lord for flying from that nest and then parenting new eagles yourself. Take the risks that He has urged you to consider and learn to fly!

Activation: As you praise the Lord for what He has done in bringing you to this point, tell Him that you lay down any desires to remain in the familiarity of your spiritual nest. Ask Him what dreams He has for you as you seek to mature further.
