For those who feel leaky and drained…

‘I leak! I leak! How can I sustain this life in Christ when I feel so drained?!’

You say you are drained. That is the way I created you, to leak my presence, to leak my joy, love, heart and passion. So don’t be surprised when you feel drained. Be encouraged that you have leaked me into the lives of the people you have met and work alongside. If you leak, then you need me even more, so that you can be filled, refreshed and empowered alongside your friends who are also seeking me.

I did not create you to go this journey alone but rather alongside others who leak, just like you. As you and your friends – your community – come to me, I impart more of my life and breath and presence so that you can leak and flow and impart me into the whole sphere of the life you live.

Don’t imagine that you will ever stop leaking, because I have given you my anointing to pass on to everyone you encounter. So rejoice son, daughter: as the love leaks out so does my grace, compassion and healing. Live and move and have your being in me, as I do in you. Come to me with brothers and sisters who together reflect the community of anointing power. For it is the anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage, sin and oppression… and so I need you to leak.
