On Your Knees – your Lion Bites word for today

So often, when the enemy thinks he has won, it is then that the tables are turned. I am the One who turned an instrument of torture and death into a sign of hope and love. I am the One who turned what Satan thought was his biggest moment of victory into a crushing defeat. It became a moment of glorious triumph for my Kingdom! I cannot be defeated by the enemy’s plans! I cannot lose because he has already lost! Every plan of the enemy will be overturned. Every plan and purpose of mine will prevail.

Remember this when he whispers in your ear that you have no hope. Remember this when he tells you that you have lost. His voice will tell you that you are defeated, crushed and without hope. He is wrong. At the moment when you feel overwhelmed, falling to your knees in defeat and despair without strength, listen for my voice.

Hear me whisper, “‘On your knees’ is a position of victory! Lift your head, my child, and hear MY voice. Let me tell you that when you surrender your strength, when you fall to your knees, you are positioned for victory. In that position of humility and surrender, don’t submit to his lies. Submit and surrender all to me. As you humble yourself before me, acknowledging your weakness and need of my strength, you position yourself for me to act.

Call on me now. I WILL answer. As you submit to me, positioned in humility, I will infuse you with my strength and be the lifter of your head. You will receive my grace to continue at that moment. I will raise you up again!”

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: ‘God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.’

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
