I am the victorious Lion of Judah, I am the Lamb that was slain and is alive forever more. Is my arm too short that it cannot save? Was my blood not victorious for you?
Look to the cross: it is empty and blood stained. Look to the grave: it is left desolate. Look to the throne: that is where I am seated – my blood forever making intercession and judgment for you. Have you forgotten the joy of your salvation?
So I say, ‘Restore, restore!’ To your joy I say, ‘restore!’. To your heart I say, ‘restore!’. Lift up your eyes and see me in my glory and victory. The victory is for you! The victory is for you over sin, over sickness, over poverty, over pain. Seize the victory, seize your health, seize your freedom, seize your holiness, seize your joy. Raise up your hands in worship, the victory is yours!
Isaiah 53:1,3-5Â (The Tanakh translation of the Jewish Publication Society)
Who would have believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the LORD been revealed?
He was despised, and forsaken of men, a man of pains, and acquainted with disease, and as one from whom men hide their face: He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely our diseases He did bear, and our pains He carried; whereas we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded because of our transgressions, He was crushed because of our iniquities: the chastisement of our welfare was upon Him, and with His stripes we were healed.Â
