A Necessary Pruning – your Lion Bites word for today

I hear the Spirit of the Lord say, “Just as in nature, so there are times of pruning in your lives. Pruning is not a bad thing as it is necessary so that the unwanted parts of the plant can be discarded and fresh new fruitful life can come forth. This is NOT a time of punishment in your life, even though it may seem like that! It’s a time of pruning for I am discarding the things in your life that are no longer needed and no longer fruitful. They were necessary and fruitful in the past, but they are now obsolete and out of date. Let me remove the stuff in your life that is no longer required and has been holding you back. I promise that you will feel much better and freer.

Let the wind of my Spirit flow through you afresh; let my Spirit reach the places that have been hidden or bogged down by debris. Enter into this new season unhindered, ready for the new, for the better and for me to use you in new ways.”

You may want to take time and give Father God permission to take away all that is not necessary for your new season.

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
