Avoid unnecessary debate

There is much to be celebrated in your fellow Christian brothers and sisters! There is much to be celebrated in the church, which is the bride of Christ. Don’t be dragged into idle talk, debate and gossip about those who you are supposed to love. These are paths to unnecessary arguments, division and disunity. Instead, may all our lives be consecrated for worship to the King, reflecting His glory, His grace and His love. We are all His children: may how we speak about one another be an aspect of our worship to Him and may it glorify Him!

Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
