Jubilee – your Lion Bites word for today

There is a Jubilee that I have provided for you – not just a year or a season, but a lifelong experience of my grace. All debts are cancelled, all slavery is ended, all is restored to its original design so that you might feast on my goodness, eat of my provision, rest in my protection. It is my heart for you that you live a jubilee life.

So take stock: where there is anything that contradicts my word of wholeness, freedom and life, reject it, crush it, walk out of it. Receive the truth and walk in it.

Say, ‘All my debts were cancelled at the cross. All my sins were forgiven at the cross. All my sicknesses were healed at the cross. I am free, I am whole, I am healed, I am alive!’

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
