I am with you in the fire
When fires rage all around you, stay close to the one who will truly keep you safe. His strength is miraculous, His protection is perfect.
How do I keep close, you ask? “Stay in conversation with me”, replies Jesus, your Lord, your protector. “I am right with you this week, I am with you in the furnace of your life. I am speaking to you – make time to listen, to hear, to reply – even though it feels alien to the circumstance. You will find me in the fire. I am with you. Listen to me”
Daniel 3:25-27
He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.” Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire… they saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.
