I am holding my Bride to a higher account in this season – any hurt and offence from the previous season needs to be dealt with before you can move forward together in unity. In order to truly examine your heart, you must first find humility. If you keep hold of what is from the past I cannot propel you into the future. If you chose to look back, you will be turned into a pillar of salt. Do not take offence with each other and do not keep a record of wrongdoings.
Count your blessings and fall on your knees as you take in the fullness of my glory and the pardon that was bestowed upon you. Let your fear of my name release any pride and personal ambition. Raise your voice in thankful praise, and honour me with right thinking.
Activation:
Ask Holy Spirit to highlight anyone who you have had an issue with, or an area that you have recently been offended by. Ask God to show you the way forward to put it right. If that involves reaching out to make amends, then do so, if it involves releasing them from your thoughts and hand them over to God then pray in that way.
Allow this release to posture your heart humbly before the Lord, and acknowledge his Kingship over your life. Speak out a prayer of thanksgiving for who he is, and for how he has freed you today.
Philippians 2:3-4 (ESV)
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
