Do Not Hide – your Lion Bites word for today

My Children, why do you wait to come to me? Why do you think that I am far off, angry or disinterested? Why do you keep me at arm’s length?

Do you not know that I am always ready to forgive, to restore, to comfort, and yes, to correct? Yet even in my correction, I do it for your own good. For I desire that you would have life in every part of your being. But if you hold back or hide from me, I cannot deal with the things that cause you pain. Come and do heart business with me today. Come and allow me to make right that which you have covered and hid. Allow my Spirit all access to your life; for in that space of permission, I can do a life changing work.

And have you forgotten his encouraging words spoken to you as his children? He said, “My child, don’t underestimate the value of the discipline and training of the Lord God, or get depressed when he has to correct you. For the Lord’s training of your life is the evidence of his faithful love. And when he draws you to himself, it proves you are his delightful child.”
