Arise

My child, I’ve seen the places where depression and despondency have left you feeling depleted and at times defeated. This season has been unusually tough and the weight of it seems as if it is more than you can bear. Although you’ve sought me in the secret place, you still find yourself wondering more times than usual if this will ever lift. You have faithfully trusted in me during this time of testing, and you’ve never doubted that I AM with you. I see you and I say that time has come. The weight is being lifted in this hour and I say to you: Arise my child arise! 

Today marks the beginning of a new day and it is the day to arise to a new life. You’ve pressed through in worship, and you’ve persevered in prayer. 

I want you to know that I am here to refresh you and to revive you. My child, arise into my light and stand victoriously radiant with my glory.

Activation: Wherever you are, activate this word by physically standing up and imagining yourself being clothed with the glory of the Lord as it falls upon you. As you do so pray these words:

Father, I receive your glory. In the name of Jesus, I stand up to activate this word in my life. I decree that this season of heaviness is now over. In the name of Jesus, I now arise from the depression and exhaustion in which circumstances have kept me. I rise to a new life! I now shine and am radiant with the glory of the Lord, for my light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon me!

Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]!

Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust Him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.
