Passion for My Word

Reading my word brings renewal.

Declaring my word inspires passion and growth.

The word is a route to deeper understanding and stronger intimacy with me.

For many though, my word seems impenetrable, like it is beyond you and filled with things that you will never understand.

These are lies which hinder and disempower you.

Have patience with yourself as you read my word. Ask for my joy and divine understanding to fill you as you read. These words are gifts of life that release you into fullness. Anything which says otherwise must be silenced!

Activation: Placing a hand on your head, repent of anywhere that you have knowingly and unknowingly partnered with any lies having to do with your ability to read and understand scripture. Then, declare the following over yourself:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that when I read the word of God, I understand it. By my Father’s grace I receive life and understanding every time I read the bible. 

I will be patient with myself as I comprehend what I read.

I declare that where I have despair or defeat, I receive fresh passion and joy!

Remember what you were taught from your childhood from the Holy Scrolls which can impart to you wisdom to experience everlasting life through the faith of Jesus, the Anointed One! God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.

I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light . . .
