Abound in Me

My beloved children: I am the God of plenty! When it feels like your time, finances, and abilities are being squeezed, do not turn to fear! Turn to me in the squeezing and the stress.

In these moments, remember who your Father is and call down the storehouses of heaven. Knock, knock, and knock some more, for the doors will open.

When the world feels tough and the fear of lack comes creeping in, take those thoughts captive and dwell on the truth of who your Father is.

Activation: Is there an area of your life where you are feeling squeezed? Maybe it’s your time or your finances. Whatever it may be, take a moment to dedicate this area of your life to God, asking Holy Spirit for his divine perspective and strategies. Declare the kingship of Jesus over this area of your life and ask Holy Spirit how you can steward this area in a kingdom way.

Psalm 23:1-3 (NIV)

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.

James 1:17 (NLT)

Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.

Psalm 116:4-7 (TPT)

I cried out to the Lord, “God, come and save me!”

He was so kind, so gracious to me.

Because of his passion toward me, he made everything right and he restored me.

So I’ve learned from my experience that God protects the vulnerable.

For I was broken and brought low, but he answered me and came to my rescue!

Now I can say to myself and to all, “Relax and rest, be confident and serene, for the Lord rewards fully those who simply trust in him.”
