God’s Chariot of Fire and Glory  –  your Lion Bites word for today

God’s Chariot of Fire and Glory is coming to the earth in these days to bring a display of His majesty, brilliance and purity. This movement of God’s spirit is bringing the reverential fear of the Lord that will make way for an intensification of His presence in our midst.

As in the days of Elisha, God is coming to bring a double portion – a greater measure – of His Spirit, beyond anything that we have experienced before. This is not an extension, addition or increase of what we already have. This is beyond!

The Lord is saying ‘Open your eyes and look to my glory. Can you see it? My chariot of glory and fire is coming toward you. If you can see it, you’ve got it!’

Ask God how you can prepare for this invasion in your life. Are there habits that need destroying or lies that need tearing down? Ask Him and He will reveal it to you. It is time to make way!

2 Kings 2:9-14
When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied. “You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not.” As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two. Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan. He took the cloak that had fallen from Elijah and struck the water with it. “Where now is the Lord, the God of Elijah?” he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.
