God delights in your dayday –  your Lion Bites word for today

God delights in your day-to-day just like He delights in your Sunday morning attendance, your intimate times with Him and your worship. He longs to be invited into every moment of your day, even if you don’t think it is a suitable environment for the God of all the universe to turn up to. As you wash dishes, hoover your carpet, take the kids to school, get the train to work, there God is waiting to be invited. As you make your bed, do your ironing, write a business proposal or sit down to enjoy a home meal, there God is waiting to sit with you and talk. He is Immanuel – the God who is with us – the God who is with YOU, Lion. Today, choose one or two mundane tasks that you’re going to proactively invite God into and be surprised at how interested He really is in your life.
