Do you belong in captivity? –  your Lion Bites word for today

It has become apparent that you think you belong in the prison you are in; that somehow you did something that made you deserve the torture of guilt and shame. You have heard the words that Jesus came to set the world free but believe that is simply for the ones who have self-control, peace, patience and give enough time, talents, and offerings. Those who are never selfish, harsh or lazy. But God says to you ‘Please stop trying to earn your salvation.

Remember: ‘My grace is sufficient for you for and my power is perfected in weakness.’
(2 Corinthians 12:9)

Darling, the door is open. Walk away from your prison and let me take you to the higher place I have for you. Now is the time. Trust me.’
